From the rear flap: Franco Pace is a yachting photographer of international repute. renowed for his stunning action shots and superb photographic composition. The major international yachting magazines have all published his photographs, and there have been several exibitions of his work, including one at the George Pompidou Centre in Paris. He is the author of several books about various theemes concerning the yachting field.

In the book Senza tempo, Franco Pace presents a collection of the most spectacular images from his extensive archive, the result of thirty years of photography, concentrating on the fascinating theme of great classic boats.

Thanks to the combination of the most advanced technologies with a cultural heritage of knowledge, crafts and seafaring skills passed on by the last shipwrights, it was possible to bring back to their original splendour the most prestigious yachts, who were the protagonists of yachting a hundred years ago. This interaction of old skills and new technologies is probably the best way to preserve and bring these jewels back to life, providing them with an ageless charm.
