La Libreria del Mare was founded in the 1970s and is housed in a former delicatessen in the heart of Milan. Today it offers a selection of more than ten thousand books and other products, including, of course, nautical charts and pilot books. La Libreria del Mare also promotes maritime culture through a series of meetings with the most established authors in the field, and works with numerous public and private institutions (Associazione Librerie Indipendenti Milano, BookCity Milano, the City of Milan and Ocean Film Festival Italia).
