Dear User, pursuant to art. 13 of the “Personal Data Protection Code”, Legislative Decree 196/2003 (hereinafter also simply the “Code”), as implemented by artt. 13-14 of “EU Regulation 2016/679” (hereinafter also simply the “Regulation”), La Libreria del Mare di Piera Casari e c. s.a.s. (hereinafter the “Controller”), acting as Data Controller, provides you with the notice concerning the processing of the personal data of Users who visit the Site www.libreriadelmare.it (hereinafter also simply “the Site”). The notice below is given for the Controller’s Site only and not for any other websites that may be reached through links. The Controller will collect and process the following types of data in accordance with the legislation referred to above.

The User’s Data is collected to allow the Controller to provide its services, as well as to fulfil the following purposes: Contacting the User and Carrying out Statistical Activities.

Details on the processing of Personal Data

Personal Data is collected for the following purposes and using the following services:

  1. Contact Data: this data corresponds to the User’s First name, Last name and email address and is requested when filling in the contact form. It may be processed by the Controller in order to respond to requests for information or quotations, as well as to establish and manage relationships effectively.
  2. Billing and Shipping Data: this data corresponds to the User’s First and Last name (or Company name in the case of a company), address, telephone number, email, tax code and VAT number and is requested when filling in the registration form. It may be processed by the Controller in order to manage, organise and complete the orders placed by the User, as well as to establish and manage relationships effectively.
  3. Navigation Data: the IT systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected in order to be associated with identified individuals, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, make it possible to identify users. The Data Controller reserves the right to monitor and analyse such traffic data through the Google Analytics web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses the Personal Data collected to track and examine the use of this Site, compile reports and share them with the other services developed by Google. Google may use the Personal Data to contextualise and personalise the advertisements of its own advertising network. The Personal Data collected by Google corresponds to Cookies and Usage Data. The place of processing by Google is the USA. (Privacy Policy – Opt Out).
  4. Cookies: the Site uses Cookies as further specified in the dedicated notice, drawn up pursuant to the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Measure of 8 May 2014 “Identification of simplified procedures for providing information and obtaining consent for the use of Cookies”.

The User’s Personal Data may be used by the Controller in court proceedings or in the stages leading to their possible commencement, to defend against misuse of this Site or of the related services by the User.
