The black hard cover with a golden spine takes you back to the epic scene where Pinocchio travels into the depths of the ocean to find the whale that swallowed his father Geppetto. In the original version of the fairy tale, the fish that swallows Pinocchio is a dogfish. In Walt Disney’s feature film a substantial change occurs and they decide to represent the fish with a giant whale.
