All the routes described are open to yachts with fixed masts and anywhere these can go, motor cruisers can go too. The cruising grounds extend from the province of Zeeland, on the Belgian frontier, through South and North Holland to Amsterdam; thence into the Ijsselmeer and across to the lake district of Friesland and the German frontier. They not only provide safe sailing, but pass through pictoresque old towns and villages, which have changed little over th centuries.
