The “deck plans” have always been one of those traditional ephemera given to the passengers of a ship when they were booking their travel. In this way the agent could easily show them the different typologies of cabins, the many social lounges and the numerous facilities to happily spend their time onboard.

The guests would have taken the deck plan along with them to find their way inside the “giant” or to mark the table to which they had been assigned in one of the dining rooms.
