From the author’s words: “This is not a book about ecological conservation nor is it a book on the ocean’s paleontology. We leave the biology of the ocean ecosystem to those more eminently skilled and learned. Instead, we have a collection of images, a collection of words, the rambling thoughts of an individual with a passion for the sea and living for life. Through the medium of images photographic and of the mind’s eye, a pictorial journey to some famous dive sites is undertaking, an exploration of the beauty beneath the blue. In the telling of sea tales and verses, it is hoped that this book will be an act of sharing as we embark on a song for life. A gentle awakening to the joy of the marine world around us”.
