The title of this book has a double meaning: firstly it is a physical place, interpreted as the water being a mirror; the second meaning derives from a poem by Charles Baudelaire, titled “Man and the Sea”: the sea represents the mirror in which man views himself and his anguish, yet he is undeniably fascinated by it. The author of this volume shares the wonder and amazement that he feltevery time such incredible creatures appeared in front of his lens and incredulous eyes.
