Forcole: sono le scalmiere, i punti d’appoggio per i remi, delle barche veneziane; antichi oggetti il cui uso è tuttora in evoluzione, moderni oggetti di uso antico. Le si può pensare, guardare, fotografare, disegnare nei modi più diversi, a volte prescindendo dalle loro caratteristiche tecniche e funzionali, a volte esasperandole o estraniandole. Undici autori tentano di illustrare l’ambiente della forcola, mentre sette fotografi raccontano la forcola dalla sua nascita al suo uso in barca.

Forks: are the rowlocks, the points of support for the oars, of the Venetian boats; ancient objects whose use is still evolving, modern antique objects. You can think of them, watch them, taker a picture, draw them in different ways, sometimes regardless of their technical and functional features, sometimes exasperating them or alienating them. Eleven authors attempt to illustrate the environment of the forks, while seven photographers tell the history of the fork from its birth to its use aboard.

Vous les pouvez penser, regarder, photographier, dessiner de différentes façons, parfois indépendamment de leurs caractéristiques techniques et fonctionnelles, parfois en les exaspérant ou en les aliénant. Onze auteurs tentent d’illustrer l’environnement de la fourche, tandis que sept photographes racontent la fourche de sa naissance à son utilisation à bord.
