In the project of the Atlas of Mediterranean marine shells, this volume concludes the part of the Caenogastropoda; this volume includes 214 color illustrations with 1315 photographs related to the 143 recognized species of Cancellarioidea and Conoidea living in the Mediterranean Sea.

Writing of this volume took more than four years due to the difficulties related to the taxonomy of the Conoidea but also for the procurement of the material.
