This book presents approximately 1534 species, subspecies and forms of Vietnam. They belong to approximately 137 families, including land snails, marine gastropods, bivalves, nautiluses, tusk shells, chiton and fresh water shells. Each species is presented with scientific name, synonyms, English name, Vietnamese name, description, average size, habitat, distribution and occurence. Maximum size and the use of shells are sometimes added.
