A bi-lingual work has long been anticipated by those who take an interest, on a professional or non-professional level, in the molluscs of the genus Oliva. At long last we have something by the French Conchological Association, which covers modern Olives. It’s wonderful to have a work that is both educational and accessible and is also delightful, thorough, comprehensive and well thought out.
