INTEGRITY OF THE PRODUCT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>\n<p><strong>The product must be returned intact and free from defects<\/strong>. The customer has the right to handle the goods in order to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, but is responsible for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling other than that necessary for such purpose. With particular reference to sealed audiovisual products or computer software (as well as any items sealed for hygienic or health-protection reasons), please note that the right of withdrawal lapses if the packaging has been opened after delivery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>3. METHODS AND COMMUNICATION OF THE INTENTION TO EXERCISE THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">The customer must send the communication of their intention to exercise the right of withdrawal <strong>within and no later than 14 days<\/strong> from the date of receipt of the product. After clicking, they will be able to confirm the order, enter a telephone number, and choose whether to request the return of the entire order or of a single product.<\/li>\n<li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\"><strong>Customers without an account (guests):<\/strong> the customer may use the public &#8220;Request a return&#8221; page by entering the order number, the e-mail used for the purchase, and a telephone number. In this case too, it will be possible to choose whether to submit the request for the entire order or for a single product.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Once the request has been submitted through the website, the customer will receive an automatic confirmation receipt via e-mail. <strong>Submitting the request through the online form does not automatically entail acceptance of the return<\/strong>: the bookstore will verify the eligibility of the order and will communicate via e-mail the operational instructions for the possible return.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"><strong>As an alternative<\/strong> to the guided procedure on the website, the customer may in any case send an explicit communication of their intention to withdraw (specifying the product and the order details) within the same 14-day term, <strong>by e-mail<\/strong> to the address <a class=\"underline underline underline-offset-2 decoration-1 decoration-current\/40 hover:decoration-current focus:decoration-current\" href=\"mailto:info@libreriadelmare.it\">info@libreriadelmare.it<\/a> <strong>or by Registered Mail<\/strong> addressed to: La Libreria del Mare \u2013 Via Broletto, 28 \u2013 20121 Milano (MI).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>4. RETURN OF THE PRODUCT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>Following the opening of the return request, the customer must ship the product, duly packaged, within and no later than 14 days from the date on which they communicated their decision to withdraw. <strong>The packaging must be suitable<\/strong> for the proper protection of the product and must have characteristics similar to those used by us at the time of shipment. <strong>The direct costs of returning the product<\/strong> (return shipping costs) <strong>are entirely borne by the customer.<\/strong> The product must be sent to: La Libreria del Mare \u2013 Via Broletto, 28 \u2013 20121 Milano (MI).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>5. REFUND METHODS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">In the event of withdrawal, <strong>the customer will be refunded all payments made to us for the purchase of the returned goods<\/strong>, including the costs of the original delivery shipment (except for the additional costs deriving from any choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive one offered by us).
